Hi there Urban, Note that there is a PD formatter called Red Format which is some seven years old now but is I still use as it has an IBM 'preset' for formatting IBM compatible disks on an Atari. The difference between the two Atari and IBM formats are listed in the program and the differences are in the number of tracks and sectors and something else that I can't quite remember! Anyway I have'nt seen it listed in PD libraries for quite some time so I'll e-mail a copy privately to you. Note that there are plenty of active PD libraries with their own web sites. Check out the following: ftp://src.doc.ic.ac.uk/packages/atari/umich/ http://www.users.zetnet.co.uk/sdelaney/downloads/downloads.html http://www.cix.co.uk/~sta/ Regards Colin * To unsubscribe from this list, send an email with the * * mesage: unsubscribe notator * * to: @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ * * DO NOT use the list address @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ * * In case of problems contact: @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ *
