Thanks for your thoughtful response. An idea of what configurations others are using is exactly what I am seeking. Although I've generated basic scores over the years it's been acomplished mostly by trial and error, little understanding, and often hampered by the need to have a score immediately. I'm just gonna have to make the extra time to learn this side of Notator. How exactly do you insert the text from your word processor into Notator's score...and have you found a simple..er.. practical way, to easily align lyrical phrases with notation? As far as representing A/C#.....click and drag will get "A" or any standard major or minor chord symbol from the parts box unto the score but trying to type in the "/C#" part doesn't quite accomplish the desired result. That too, may be a matter of selecting the correct font size...at least in part. Either way I'm gonna be trying your suggestions as soon as I get a chance. Thanks to you, and Urban.
