Greetings all, thinking about this "lets have Notator released as PD"
problem, has lead me to come up with this possible solution.
    - Have Emagic release an install program which determines if the
      dongle is present and if so, modify the part of the program
      code which checks for the dongle and disable this feature.
      
    - The install program would also read in some hard-wired constant
      from the computer (serial number of the ROM perhaps?) and use 
      this as a software lock. The end result being a modified copy 
      of Notator SL which would *only* run on the computer it was 
      installed on.
Well, this is more or less what I'm going to suggest to Emagic, as I 
consider it to be a feasible idea. Any thoughts on the above.
