I have now been able to solve my own problem! If anyone is interested in
coping with it, here is my original request:
<Hi! I'm a new member, though I've been using Notator for donkey's years.
<I have a new problem: I've done pre-programmed loading many times
<successfully, but now a bug has arisen. I have a suite of five large
pieces,
<meant to run without a break, so I have hitched them all together with the
<P_USER commands. They load OK and run at the right moment. Problem is, only
<one of the four connections starts the new piece at the right tempo; the
<others are all at some slower tempo. Yet when I stop and restart each piece
<separately, the correct tempo is used.   Any ideas, anybody?
And the answer is to place a blank pattern at the top of the new song,
timing it one beat before bar 1. For some inexplicable reason this cures the
wrong tempo bug.
