Hello,
Using hyper-edit, whenever I insert a note (left-mouse click) I always get
a note length of 16. Regardless of what value I change this note to, the
next insertion of a note will also result in a length of 16. Of course, I
can use the event list to lengthen each note's duration but this tends to
become a hassle after a while (going back and forth, etc.)
Is there anyway to change the default to say 40 or so? 
I'm using Notator 3.21 (thanks HT) and needless to say, have no manual.
