Here is a quote from the Atari Compendium: "TOS Error #35, probably the most common error alert that is not self explanatory, happens when a program you are trying to run has somehow been corrupted. What it means is that TOS can not find some magic numbers it expects to find either at the beginning or at the end of the program file. This error is usually attributable to operator error (as in trying to execute an archive or text file as a program), or to bit rot." IT is likely that you have a floppy disc that has corrupted data. This is another way of saying, why didn't you have a nice new backup on hand?? But there can be some other reasons, the floppy drive itself can get flakey, but get a new copy of the Notator program, as I think someone else suggested also. You then follow on from there (if that does not work). If problems persist, then try the whole Notator on another Atari ST known to be good. Otherwise, if as I understand you are in New Zealand either visit me in Auckland or ring me on (09) 412 9700 and it is then easier to go into more detail. You should also join the Tariland club and help support Atari in New Zealand. Have you seen our special Millenium 100 page A4 Club Magazine complete with Colour cover?? There are several articles in there on music, including one I wrote using Notator, sysex and the Roland Juno 106 synthesizer. If there are any other people in this list who would like to buy this special collectors 100 page A4 mag, then it will cost you NZD20 plus postage. A bit of history, but the clubs funds spent on a worthwhile cause:-) Mario did a superb colour picture for the cover using POVRAY. It is stunning. -- | Brian Becroft | Tariland, Atari user group in New Zealand | | @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ | @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ | | http://gem.win.co.nz/brian/ | http://tariland.win.co.nz/ | ______________________________________________________________ | Unsubscribe/list-help/list commands.... | | http://matrix.crosswinds.net/~notator/docs/notator_intro.txt | ______________________________________________________________
