Or is it now, that everyone have Internet connect agreements and software that doesn't care a hoot about people re-quoting a previous posting in its entirety, even though their current comments may be relevant to a small part of the previous post. The point once used is that people have various reasons for prefering the posts are not longer than they need to be. This simply means that when you are replying to a post, you cut out all the stuff you DON'T WANT (and which we don't want to re-read again) and it is a neat way of utlising the wonders of electronic managementy of text. Or have we all conveniently forgotten the days before Word-Processors? And the wonders of cut and paste!
