I use the HP with both the Atari 1040 (the 300 Deskjet driver that comes with Notator works just fine) and the PC. The 660C holds 2 separate cartridges - for black and color. The 600C DeskJet I believe is still available and is now below $100 - - search the web - I saw a dealer's name just a few days ago. I thought I had saved the URL, but I guess I didn't. I used a 9-pin matrix printer with both computers as well as the 660C......no problems at all. I have 2 switch boxes - one to select the computer and one to select the printer......make sure that the computers/printers are OFF when you change the settings on either switch box......There used to be a lot of talk about "frying" your printer aand/or computer, etc. It payes to play it safe. Hope this helps....Amy. > > Thanks, > > Glenn Martin > > @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ > > http://www.softek.net/glenn.martin > > ______________________________________________________________ > | Unsubscribe/list-help/list commands.... | > | http://matrix.crosswinds.net/~notator/docs/notator_intro.txt | > ______________________________________________________________ ______________________________________________________________ | Unsubscribe/list-help/list commands.... | | http://matrix.crosswinds.net/~notator/docs/notator_intro.txt | ______________________________________________________________
