While I think that it would be a very good thing if Notator's code were made open source, so that SOME repair and development (i.e. removal of protection) is possible for existing committed users, turning Notator into an "up-to-date" (whatever that means) sequencer would not only be pretty near impossible, I'd guess, (because it's a total nightmare to take over someone else's code); that's also the sort of idea that will frighten Emagic to death and stop them doing it.
