I cannot speak for the Mac, but I have this setup between my Atari and PC/Win.95.......(I just upgraded the PC with a 233 chip - haven't tried the PC/Atari link with it yet - I don't think it should make any difference)....... Here goes.....download a program called GHOSTLINK from Hallvard's web........it works like an absolute charm....there are two parts to the program....... one part is installed on the Atari, the other on the PC......this program enables one to access the PC hard drive from the Atari and visa versa.......(here's where you will need a 720 DD-Floppy which can be read by both computers....) What you also need is a 2-way DB-25 Data Switch.....they are not very expensive, also (if I remember correctly) a 25-pin cable. The instructions for istallation of program and switch come with the program. I have had this setup for several years: Set up a link in your PC - I have "PC link (Atari Slave)" set up thus: Start/Programs/Network Programs/Atari Link (PC Slave): You would set up a folder on the HD in your PC to receive your files from the Atari........on the Atari, set up an icon called PC-Link or some such thing......also you would use COM1 and set to 57,900 Baud (or whatever the 58,000 baud rate is.....) When you access the PC Hard Drive from the Atari, open the respective folders - the one on the Atari.and the one on the PC and simply click and drag......... Good luck.........it was and is great when downloading stuff for the Atari using the PC and the Internet......I might add that I have been using this link since my 386 and Windows 3.1..... Good luck.......Amy. ******** Steve Coates wrote: > [Notator/Creator SL mailing list] > > I have scores of songs on my Atari Hard drive which I would Like to > transfer to my Mac, but preferably without going through the laborious > route of multiple floppy copying.
