Hello, Nermin;

Welcome to the group. I never really used grooves, as I use Notator 
primarily for score printout. As far I a can tell, groove works best on a 
previously-quantized track. As groove is a non-event-altering function, you 
will not see any change in your data. The "user defined grooves" are just 
that - you must define the groove. Until you are ready to do this, try one 
of the others, particularly the heavier swing feels. Play around with the 
strength, or the other settings. Don't worry, you can't hurt your data, and 
you can always remove the effect.

Thanks to all for your prayers words of encouragement. My wife may be 
transferred from the surgical hospital to one that specializes in trauma 
rehabilitaion. I may not have mentioned - she broke both legs and her left 
arm. Her right leg required major reconstruction. Fortunately, she has very 
few memories of that week. They anticipate a two-year convalescence.
