Newsgroups and mainling lists were certainly in use way before the 9= 0's. I'm sorry=2C I can't see any forum at Notator.org. Regarding some other comments. I do not mean a yahoo groups type thing. I'm= talking about a proper forum at Notator.org. There is really no excuse not= to have one. As I mentioned before PHPBB is free and reliable. Assuming th= e server that Notator.org is on can run php/mysql and can spare a database = it would take half an hour to set up. I've installed phpbb many times and I= 'm happy to help. Vbulletin board is the industry standard and is the finest board out there = in terms of features=2C user-ability and security but its not free. I belie= ve it can also work in conjunction with a mailing list for those who prefer= ancient methods. If you look over the archives of this mailing list you can see a continuing= decline in usage. I guarantee a proper forum would not only serve the exis= ting notator.org users far more efficiently but it would attract many new u= sers. =20 > Date: Wed=2C 29 Sep 2010 20:25:12 -0400 > From: @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ > To: @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ > Subject: Re: [NSL] Can we have a Notator.org forum? >=20 > [Notator/Creator SL mailing list] >=20 > mixer boy wrote: >=20 > > These email lists are so 1970's. >=20 > Actually=2C they're 1990s. >=20 > > Why can't Notator.org have a proper forum? >=20 > We do.
